July 12, 2009: Tijuana River Beach and Mount Palomar (San Diego County, California)

Today I landed at the San Diego airport around noon and had some free time before getting ready for my ESRI conference. I met up with Mark Yacucci from Illinois and local birder BJ Stacy at Imperial Beach in San Diego for some birding along the Tijuana River Estuary. Here are some photos from that visit. We first made a quick stop at the end of 7th Street nearby:
