March 6, 2007: Buffalo to Phoenix Aerial Photos (19 FLIGHT PHOTOS)

This was an early morning flight out of Buffalo, connecting in Detroit, on its way to Phoenix. It was clear most of the way, so I got some interesting shots. A Flight Aware map of the plane's routes can be found at the end of this section...

A neat shot of ice on Lake Erie

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Newton, Kansas

A winter storm had just passed to the north. You can see the 'snow line' still...

Crop circles near Plains, Kansas (Southwestern part of the state)

Clayton, New Mexico

Capulin Volcano (Northeastern New Mexico)

Sandia Mountains of New Mexico

Another nice shot of the Sandias

Santa Fe, New Mexico

Deep snow in the mountains near Santa Fe

Deserts of Western New Mexico

Painted Desert, Arizona

Holbrook, Arizona

White Mountains, Arizona

Desert Golf Course near Scottsdale, Arizona

What much of the valley around Phoenix looks like!

Squaw Peak Mountain, just north of Phoenix

South Mountain Park, Phoenix, Arizona

Would you be willing to send me some higher resolution pictures of the white mountains and Fort Wayne Painted desert would be nice as well.
Thanks
Sheldon
I teach in Fort Wayne Indiana and lived in the White mountains in Show-low Az. Would use the Pictures in class.
Do you guys do any ecology stuff in Fort Wayne? My wife is looking for a job has a Masters in Biology.
