A great day birding on the Rochester Lakeshore today, finding a beautiful Snowy Owl, as well as the long sought after Purple Sandpiper!

December 29, 2009: Birding Southern Ontario / Lake Ontario

We spent time today birding along the Lake Ontario shore from Grimsby to Mississauga in Southern Ontario, and got some nice photos!

We spend some time birding the Eastern Lake Ontario shoreline today.

December 30, 2007: Rochester Lake Ontario Shore Birding (New York) (9 BIRD PHOTOS)

More Lake Ontario birding in the Rochester area today, at Charlotte (Ontario Beach), and Irondequoit Bay Outlet. As usual for this time of year, the light was awful! We got a few decent shots anyway, and a nice new bird to photo! (See below)
