February 17, 2010: Birding Rancho Jurupa in Riverside, and Thurman Flats in Yucaipa (California)

This morning I birded the scenic Rancho Jurupa park in Riverside, California, then another stop at Thurman Flats Picnic area in Yucaipa.  Hoping for Red-Breasted Sapsucker in both cases... No luck but still some nice photos!

February 16, 2010: Birding Redlands and Yucaipa, California

Today I started out with some quick birding in Ford Park in Redlands before class, then headed to Thurman Flats Picnic area near Yucaipa after class (in search of the nemesis Red-Breasted Sapsucker!)
