January 15, 2012: Birding Southern Ontario

The first photos are from Oakville, Ontario.  We found a beautiful Dark-Morph Red-Tailed Hawk, photos below. Here is an interesting article about these hawks by Jean Iron:

December 31, 2011: Aquarium of Niagara and Port Weller, Ontario Birding

We started out today at the Aquarium of Niagara in Niagara Falls, New York, and then did some birding at Port Weller, Ontario, looking for the adult King Eider.  No luck on that but some nice shots otherwise!
