April 30, 2009: Birding Amherst State Park (New York)

I made a quick stop at Amherst State Park / Williamsville Glen after work today. It was very quiet, and the light was not that good for photography either. I did get two photos - of a Nashville Warbler, and of a Palm Warbler:

May 3, 2008: Nature View Park, Amherst, New York

Today I led a hike for the Western New York Land Conservancy at Nature View Park in Amherst, NY. We saw some nice birds, like Least Flycatcher, Yellow Warbler, Blue-Winged Warbler, Eastern Towhee, Blue Jay, and first of season Rose Breasted Grosbeak and Great Crested Flycatcher. Only got a few photos though.
