Today we left Homer early, and drove across the Kenai Peninsula on the Sterling and Seward Highways (a drive we are really getting used to, having done several times on the trip), down to Seward. We made a few stops on the way, but spent most of our time in Seward.
The main attraction of the day was the awesome Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward, right on the water's edge.
We had one of the best dinners of the trip at the "Crab Pot" in downtown Seward!
Our lodging was fantastic again, at Stoney Creek Cabins, about 5 miles out of town. (link) We had a nice little cabin. This place featured a hot tub down by Bear Creek, where we could watch the salmon swimming upstream and enjoy the outdoors!

We found this Bald Eagle nest, complete with two young, along the Sterling Highway near Ninilchik

Dear Greg,
I am sorry, but I coulnd't help but notice that the Whiskered Auklet you photographed is actually a Rhinoceros Auklet. You can see (although tiny) the little horn and the "whiskers" it has are typically for this species, while Whiskered Auklet has them much more extensive.
All the best,
Thomas
Thanks Thomas! This was at the Alaska Sea Life Center... Ill change it!
