Afternoon: We spent more time at Jackson galleries, and the National Museum of Wildlife Art, just north of town near the Elk Refuge. We also hiked the String Lake trail, though an area of recent burn (nice wildlife here, and great views of the Tetons).

BIRDING: More YELLOW HEADED BLACKBIRDS and BREWER'S BLACKBIRDS at the Wagon Wheel Motel, also a YELLOW WARBLER and HOUSE WREN were there. At Two Ocean Lake: MACGILLIVRAYS and YELLOW WARBLERS, RED-NAPED SAPSUCKER and DOWNY WOODPECKER, HOUSE WREN, SANDHILL CRANE heard, MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE, HERMIT THRUSHES also heard. Various eclipsed ducks, possible SHOVELER, and MALLARDS.
Elk Refuge: A variety of mystery eclipsed ducks, TRUMPETER SWAN, BARN, VIOLET GREEN and TREE SWALLOW
String lake Trail: EMP. FLYCATCHER on nest, CHIPPING SPARROW, WESTERN TANAGER, MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD, DARK EYED JUNCO, WILLIAMSON'S SAPSUCKER.
